We all know that texting while driving is dangerous. In today’s “now” society, it’s hard for our kids to wait to return a text from a friend or family member while they are on the road. Thanks to AT&T’s dedication to keep teen drivers safe, they have created a new app that helps your kids stay focused while driving. The app silences incoming text messages and can also send an auto reply to the sender letting him or her know that their friend is behind the wheel and will return their text shortly. There is even an “auto-mode” where the app can turn itself on when the car travels faster than 15 miles per hour. We think it’s great that AT&T realizes how dangerous texting while driving can be and we hope that more socially responsible companies will follow in their footsteps.
